Short version
Everything happens on your device. There are no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.
What the app processes
- ChatVault reads the chat export files (.zip) that you choose to import (exported by you from WhatsApp via its "Export chat" feature).
- It converts them into a readable HTML page (with media and voice notes) locally on your device.
- The converted result is saved only on your device (in the app's private storage / your chosen folder). You decide if and how to share it.
- The app does not read your WhatsApp messages directly and has no access to WhatsApp itself — it only processes the export file you provide.
Data collection
We collect nothing. No personal data, chat content, usage data, identifiers, or location is collected, sent to us, or shared with third parties.
No internet connection is required for the conversion.
Purchases
The optional "Pro" unlock is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). ChatVault does not receive or store your payment information. Purchases are subject to the respective store's terms and privacy policy.
Children
The app is not directed to children and collects no data from anyone.
Third parties
The app uses the standard Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing only to process the optional purchase. No other third-party SDKs, analytics, or ad networks are used.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL.

Cosa elabora l'app
- ChatVault legge i file di export (.zip) che tu scegli di importare (esportati da te da WhatsApp con la funzione "Esporta chat").
- Li converte in una pagina HTML leggibile (con media e note vocali) localmente sul dispositivo.
- Il risultato è salvato solo sul tuo dispositivo (storage privato dell'app o cartella che scegli). Decidi tu se e come condividerlo.
- L'app non legge direttamente i messaggi di WhatsApp e non vi accede: elabora solo il file di export che fornisci.
Raccolta dati
Non raccogliamo nulla. Nessun dato personale, contenuto delle chat, dato d'uso, identificatore o posizione viene raccolto, inviato a noi o condiviso con terzi.
La conversione non richiede connessione a internet.
Acquisti
Lo sblocco "Pro" (acquisto in-app una-tantum, opzionale) è gestito interamente da Apple (App Store) o Google (Google Play). ChatVault non riceve né memorizza i dati di pagamento. Gli acquisti sono soggetti ai termini e alla privacy policy del rispettivo store.
Minori
L'app non è rivolta a minori e non raccoglie dati da nessuno.
Terze parti
L'app utilizza Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing esclusivamente per processare l'acquisto opzionale. Nessun altro SDK di terze parti, analitica o rete pubblicitaria è utilizzato.
